2. The Link Looks Slightly Wrong

Scam sign: The link looks close to a real website but is not the real domain.
Scam links often use extra words, misspellings, random numbers, or strange endings. A fake delivery text might include a link that looks like a tracking page, but the domain does not match the real company.
Scammers also use short links to hide the real destination.
Example:
Real-looking: secure-login-help.com
Suspicious: usps-track-info-verify.com
What to do:
Never use the link inside a suspicious message. Type the official website into your browser or use the company’s official app.
